The 3rd Annual North Country Kids Expo is hosted by the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce at the Roos House Athletic Center SUNY Canton on Saturday, March 14th from 9 AM – 4 PM. The event entry fee is free for kids 17 and under, thanks to the Chamber’s Leadership Circle Member sponsors North Country Savings Bank and St. Lawrence Health System. Some activities may require payment; more details will be released soon so families can be prepared. However, most interactive activities will be free.
Booth registration is available until March 1st for new or returning vendors, organizations and businesses. Booth fees are $60 for Chamber Members and $80 for Non-Chamber-Members. If you are interested in being a vendor at the North Country Kids Expo, email firstname.lastname@example.org, call (315) 386-4000 or visit SLCchamber.org for the registration packet.
The event is expanding each year, bringing more businesses and on-site activities for kids and families to enjoy together. “We’re excited to see what type of interactive displays and activities our businesses and organizations create for the Expo. Families can get free Child Safety IDs from the St. Lawrence Co. Sheriff’s Department and chat with representatives from the Nicandri Nature Center, 4-H Camp Overlook, St. Lawrence Health System, Deep Root Center for Self-Directed Learning and more,” said Event Coordinator Jo Ann Roberts.
The chamber started this annual event as an initiative to give businesses, vendors, camps, and organizations the opportunity to showcase the fun and engaging activities as well as the vital resources and services they have to offer to families and children throughout the North Country region. This year’s show is taking place before spring break, providing more time for parents to plan their spring and summer activities with the valuable resources and information learned at the Expo.
